I thought Glee’s salute to Madonna  a few weeks back was pretty wonderful, especially Sue Sylvestor’s Vogue remake.  So for this week’s Throwback Thursday edition, here are some oldies but goodies you didn’t see on Glee.

I’ve never watched an actual episode of Jersey Shore but I found that reading about it on one my favorite blogs was enough to satisfy my curiosity.  I have a feeling that these brilliant animated gifs would probably keep me more entertained than the actual show.  And of course, all the parodies!

I didn’t watch the series until after it went off the air.  I tried to watch an episode back when I was in university but didn’t see what the fuss was all about.    Four women having sex, big deal.   How groundbreaking is that?  I was already watching Girlfriends on the CW.
As I got older, I watched it again and soon became a fan and even got the DVD set to watch the series from the beginning.  I guess for me, I had to chalk up a few more life experiences …

I decided to just launch my blog as is.  If I wait until I finish tweaking it, I’ll never do it.  I’ve been “testing” for two months now.  Creating a website/blog for myself is like moving into a new home — it can take months to get all the pieces right.

Ever since I saw this beautiful pastel lavender nail polish on a fashion blog months ago, I began searching high and low for it. I couldn’t find it in the stores, so I ordered it online here for less than in the stores.  I think I started looking too early because now I see it everywhere.
